Overall Longterm Outcome

An ADU regardless of if it is an ADU or JADU will add significant value to a property.  As an example, between the ball-park cost of an ADU, consulting, permitting and construction will cost between $70,000 to $125,000.  Depending on several factors including size of ADU and location the income from the ADU will be between $12,000 to $21,000 per year. Further, depending on where the property is located an ADU will add between $120,000 to $450,000.
